RESEARCH - Blog Post 12 (TASK 2) - Researching Target Audiences

Part A: Surveys

My survey :
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JH2F98D

My findings:
Most people preferred British films to American. One person said that they preferred Bollywood films and another said that they liked any films with their favourite actresses such as Jennifer Lawrence. When asked for favourite films, the genre that was talked about most was comedy and action.
Action films included: Kingsman, Lucy, Iron Man, Spy and Hunger Games.
Comedy films included: Coming to America, We Are The Millers, 3 idiots, Rush Hour and the breakfast club.

Part B: Interviews

My Conclusions
People aged 30-45 preferred well known films that have been made quite some time ago. Whereas younger people enjoyed films made in 2014/2015. The genres preferred by the younger audiences are comedy and teen genres. The older audience liked drama and action (more serious types of genres than comedy and teen.)
