White House Down

The opening of the film starts with a girl being woken up by her alarm clock, which is a long shot of her room. The camera then displays a close up of her phone alarm displaying the time and message alert. The girl then hears helicopters outside her window and opening up the curtains to view them, the camera then views a close up of her face. Then the camera tracks the helicopters from behind, over the city, all the way to the white house. Then the helicopters land and there is a long shot of the president come out of the plane with his assistant.

The characters we are introduced to are:

·        A little girl

·        The president

·        Presidents assistant

·        President guards
