- Screen player
- Director
The length of average for title sequences are 2-3 minutes
long. If the credits were much long such as 5-6 minutes the viewers would
become bored of seeing names that they don't know, which would make them
uninterested.
The font styles used depends on the film genre. For example,
an action film would have big, black, bold fonts to represent the powerfulness
of the film. Also the fonts would be more straight edged and simple. Whereas a
romantic film would have dainty, rounded and natural fonts to represent the
delicate and dreamy love in the film. The fonts are using much smaller however
still bold enough for the viewer to recognise the film title.
The sizes of fonts depend on the importance of the person and
how they contributed to the film. For example, the ident is the biggest size
and always comes first as they are the most important company for the film.
Then the director/producer would have a large font as they made the movie. The
main characters would have a media sized font as they're not as important as
the ident or director. Then the film title would also have a large font to
inform the viewer on what the film is called. After the film title font sizes
would remain a smaller size, than the rest, as they are not as important and
influential for the film.
